Membership, and how to get it.
Admission is once a year, by written application and interview. Prior Model UN experience is not required, and it is not a shortcut either.
What you get
A full season of coaching
Research method, resolution drafting, negotiation and public speaking, taught by coaches who still work the circuit. You go through mock committee before you go in front of a real one.
A place to compete for
Delegation places, and international places in particular, are earned in training. What you put in is what determines where you get sent.
The network afterwards
Alumni come back as mentors and coaches. Membership keeps working through referrals and advice long after your final committee session.

Three steps
Applications open each July and run on a rolling basis from there.
Submit a written application
Tell us who you are, why Model UN, and what you are prepared to put into it. There is no experience requirement at this stage.
Interview with the board
Shortlisted applicants have a short conversation with current members. It is a conversation about how you think, so there is nothing to revise for.
Induction and training
Admitted members start with foundational work in research, public speaking and negotiation before their first conference.
The intake cycle
One intake a year. Applications open in July and stay open on a rolling basis until the cohort is filled. We admit students weeks away from their first committee as readily as students with years behind them. Drive is the part we cannot teach.
The application form opens in a new tab. If you have a question before applying, write to us.
Questions we get asked
Do I need Model UN experience?
No. A good number of members join having never sat in a committee. The training programme is built to take someone from nothing to a first conference.
Which schools and cities do you take from?
The society is national. Our coaching base is in Karachi, and members come from across the O and A Level and university circuits.
Does membership cost anything?
Competing carries real costs, particularly for international conferences. Sponsorship funds merit places for students who earn admission but cannot cover them. Ask us about this when you apply.
Can my school work with you directly?
Yes. We run coaching programmes into schools. That is arranged through the board on the partnership page.
