MUN Society Pakistan

Strategy in Thought, Diplomacy in Execution.

Bridging the gap between national talent and international representation.

We prepare Pakistan's most driven students to argue with precision, negotiate under pressure, and lead rooms they do not yet control. Membership is a training ground for consequence, not a certificate for participation.

About MSP

A national society built on two pillars: rigorous training and lasting community.

MUN Society Pakistan is an independent, merit-based community that prepares students to compete at Model United Nations conferences at home and abroad. We take a dual approach: rigorous training in negotiation, research, and public speaking, paired with an active alumni network that stays involved long after a member's final committee session. The result is a society that treats debate as a discipline, and camaraderie as the reason it's worth mastering.

Why Join

What membership actually builds

MUN is often described as a club. We run it as a training program: one with a clear return on the hours you put in.

Develop Yourself

Committee sessions put you on the record. You learn to build an argument against a clock, read a room mid-negotiation, and speak with a composure most people don't develop until well into their careers: skills that transfer directly into interviews, courtrooms, and boardrooms.

Build Your Network

Every conference seats you beside the next generation of Pakistan's diplomats, founders, and policy leaders. Our alumni network keeps those relationships working long after the gavel falls: through mentorship, direct referrals, and a standing invitation back into the room.

Travel the World

Our delegations compete at conferences across Asia, Europe, and North America. Members represent MSP on foreign soil, negotiate across cultures, and return with a perspective most of their peers won't earn until far later in their professional lives.

Coaching & Leadership

Led by the coaches who built it

MSP is not run by administrators once removed from the committee floor. It is coached, day to day, by the people who founded it.

Ammar Hashmi, Co-Founder and Coach

Ammar Hashmi

Co-Founder / CFO

Ammar holds a BS (Economics) from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. Before co-founding MUN Society Pakistan, he built an extensive track record as a debate coach and public speaking instructor at leading institutions across Karachi, including The City School PAF Chapter and Denning. That experience training students across the O and A Level circuit is what led him to co-found MSP.

Rohaan Arshad, Co-Founder and Coach

Rohaan Arshad

Co-Founder / CEO

Rohaan is currently a fourth-year student at Habib University, completing a degree in Social Development and Policy (SDP). Alongside his studies, he has coached the Model United Nations program at Nixor College, Karachi for two consecutive seasons, guiding the team to multiple Best Delegation awards and individual accolades on the competitive circuit.

Admissions

How to apply

Membership is granted once a year, not to fill seats, but to admit delegates who are ready to compete. Applications open each year from July onwards. The cycle follows the same three steps.

  1. 1

    Submit a written application

Tell us who you are, why MUN, and what you're prepared to put into it. No prior MUN experience is required.

  2. 2

    Interview with the board

Shortlisted applicants meet with current members for a short, conversational interview, not a test of what you already know.

  3. 3

    Induction & training

Admitted members begin with foundational training in research, public speaking, and negotiation ahead of their first conference.

Intake cycle

Annual Intake

Applications open in July and remain open on a rolling basis.

We admit students who are still weeks away from their first committee just as often as students with years of experience. What we're looking for is drive: everything else, we'll help you build.
